East Suffolk Business & Community Awards 2019 are open for entries

The East Suffolk Business & Community Awards are open for entries until 30th June 2019. Information on the awards can be found at www.esbca.co.uk and entries can be made online or by post. The winners will be announced at a black tie awards dinner at The Hanger, Kesgrave Hall on 3rd October.

The awards recognise the contributions, initiatives and successes of businesses, groups and individuals within East Suffolk over the past 18 months.

This year’s awards categories cover teamwork, business growth, services to the community, science and technology, great ideas, customer service, and tourism to name just a few.

Representatives from some of the businesses whose sponsorship enables the newly expanded, East Suffolk Business & Community Awards to continue to go from strength to strength, gathered at The Hangar at Kesgrave Hall to celebrate the launch of the 2019 awards (Pictured).

The line-up of 2019 sponsors includes: Chicane Voice & Data, EDF Energy, Places Leisure, Ufford Park, SuffolkWire and Suffolk Coastal Norse.

Councillor Letitia Smith, East Suffolk Council, said: “The sponsors have been incredible again this year and have embraced the enlargement of the awards to cover the whole of East Suffolk with great enthusiasm. We’re very thankful to them for enabling the event to continue to thrive and share their excitement for this year’s awards. We’re very much looking forward to seeing what amazing people and businesses we can applaud for their achievements and commitment to the community this year.”

Hana Dickinson, Director of SuffolkWire, said: We’re thrilled to be sponsoring the Great Idea award and see what this year’s entries have been up to. Innovation is fundamental to the continual development of the area and something we’re very good at in Suffolk. I particularly like that this award is applicable to individuals, groups and businesses. It’s all to play for!”
