Supporting Langer Primary Academy VARTAN keeps little fingers warm this winter

Felixstowe-based compliance specialists, VARTAN Consultancy, is a firm believer that charity begins at home and as such the company is delighted to be supporting Langer Primary Academy this winter.

Miles Vartan explains: “2020 has been such a challenging year for so many. Keen to keep things local, we decided to lend a hand to pupils of Langer Primary Academy, Felixstowe which is just a stone’s through from our offices on Langer Road.

“Just before school finished for the Christmas holidays last week, we delivered 140 pairs of gloves; a pair for each pupil to ensure they don’t have cold hands over the holidays and on their return to school in the new year.”

VARTAN is also putting together plans to launch an arts project with the school in January. Miles continues: “It occurred to me that the imagery we have on our walls at the office does not really reflect what we do or represent our values. We want some wallcoverings to demonstrate how we work with clients and the various industries we get involved in.

“So, to jolly things up, we are going to provide art packs to each class so the children can create some bright and unique art to grace our offices.”

Lucy Beston, the deputy headteacher at Langer Primary Academy, says: “In a time where many have experienced loss, financial difficulty and uncertainty, we at Langer are humbled by the generosity of the local community. We would like to send a huge thank you to all those that have been generous enough to donate and support our families and making the last year a little more comfortable.”
