Suffolk Chamber of Commerce has signed up to a comprehensive British Chambers of Commerce scheme that offers a full suite of new free-to-access services for its members – significantly boosting the value of Suffolk Chamber’s overall membership package.
Suffolk Chamber’s new business protection scheme, Suffolk Chamber Protection, gives members free access to specialist HR, legal, tax and health & safety advice plus access to hundreds of online documents aimed at keeping companies on the right side of the law and at no cost to them. The scheme also offers legal expenses and other types of relevant insurance cover.
Graham Abbey (pictured), president of Suffolk Chamber, explained why the organisation had decided to offer such an enhanced package. “We are aware that our members are rightly looking for value from everything we do. In addition as a member-led organisation, we are constantly listening to what our members want from their membership. It was for these two reasons that we decide to launch this new benefits package.
“Our current legal advice line is well-used and this service builds on that – very much in response to requests from our existing members. We believe that our Suffolk Chamber Protection scheme will be of outstanding value to many of our members in all sectors and of all sizes.
According to the scheme’s providers, Qdos Consulting, companies can save about £1000 on average in any given year.”

Suffolk Chamber has already written to every business on its database pre-announcing the launch of Suffolk Chamber Protection. Now Suffolk Chamber Protection has gone live, the Chamber will now be sending out more emails to encourage use of these excellent services. “We believe that this scheme will give our members both peace of mind and access to great services. We hope as many members as possible will use at least some of the services provided” concluded Graham.
Suffolk Chamber Protection is available only Suffolk Chamber members and can be accessed via the members’ area on the Chamber’s website.
