Spider secures twelve-month contract with local care provider

Spider, the region’s leading online job advertiser, has secured a new twelve-month recruitment contract with the national live-in home care provider, Christies Care.

The award of the contract comes after a successful twelve months that saw Spider generate over a thousand candidates a month for Christies Care.  This achievement has resulted in Christies Care committing to Spider for another year, meaning Spider is solely responsible for their national online carer recruitment drive throughout 2019 and into 2020.

Michelle Pollard, Owner of Spider, is delighted with the deal: “Spider has been able to support Christies Care with more reach online and have partnered with all of the premier job boards in the UK to offer Christies Care a complete outsourced recruitment advertising service. Our service has also included writing and publishing effective online adverts, screening candidates, access to a bespoke advertising portal and giving Christie Care’s recruitment team constant support throughout the process. We’re thrilled to have secured a national contract with them for 2019 and we’ll continue to ensure they have a high profile online, so we can find them the best candidates for their live-in care vacancies. Christies Care play an integral role in supporting people in their homes and knowing that we support them with high quality carers is a privilege “

Quality care needs quality recruitment

Christies Care is committed to finding the right staff and providing them with industry-leading training and support.  This was recognised as part of their ‘outstanding’ rating, awarded by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

Freddy Gathorne-Hardy, Managing Director at Christies Care, explains: “Christies Care has always understood that recruiting the right people, with the right attitude is the only way to give our clients an outstanding service”.

“Our carers live in with their clients, giving our clients the support and help they need, and helping them to be as independent as possible. Obviously, recruiting and training the best carers is the only way we can succeed”.

We have worked with Spider for two years now, and we wouldn’t be able to succeed without them. Their quick, friendly and above all competent service gives our team the tools to recruit the best carers.”
