RSM becomes 17th Suffolk Chamber patron

Leading audit, tax and consulting firm RSM has signed up as the latest patron of Suffolk Chamber of Commerce, the county’s leading business organisation.

RSM has strong East Anglian connections. Its office in Bury St Edmunds –  one of 35 across the UK –  offers a full suite of accounting and advisory services to businesses across the region.

RSM UK also has extensive global reach as a member firm of RSM International – the sixth largest network of audit, tax and consulting firms globally, spanning over 120 countries, with 813 offices and more than 43,000 people.

Suffolk Chamber’s patron scheme is a strategic partnership between an organisation and the Chamber. It allows patrons to take advantage of Suffolk Chamber’s highly influential connections with business, media and political leaders throughout the county and beyond, and so influence policy at a national level. Patrons also gain access to additional exclusive benefits beyond those available to other members.

Laragh Jeanroy, Office Managing Partner at RSM Bury St Edmunds said “we are very excited to develop our relationship with the Suffolk Chamber and its members.

“At a time when businesses across East Anglia face huge uncertainties, our association with the Chamber will enable us to better understand the concerns of the local business community.

“We intend to play a key role in helping to shape and support the Chamber’s agenda and to help members to mitigate future risks and take advantage of new opportunities.”

John Dugmore, Chief Executive of Suffolk Chamber welcomed RSM UK’s announcement. “RSM is a major player in the business advisory sector both in this country and beyond, so it is a wonderful endorsement of this chamber that they have become patrons.

“The company has such a strong presence in advising and supporting mid-market companies across the UK that I am sure that they will be an active and welcome patron in working with local businesses of that size.

‘We are very much looking forward to working with the RSM UK team to help them deepen their reach into leading midmarket influencers and decision-makers within Suffolk.”
