Monthind wins Quadram Institute FM contract
12/10/2018 - Monthind Clean
As a chosen partner for CBRE Asset services, Monthind has been appointed as the provider of a range of facilities management services at the Quadram Institute. They have also, via Wates construction, secured the contract to provide the post-build clean prior to the buildings opening.
Designed by the Quadram Institute Bioscience and the Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital, the QI is an £81 million-pound medical facility that will capitalise on the world-class bio-science expertise based on the Norwich Research Park.
Richard Redding, Director of Sales at Monthind commented, “We are delighted to have been awarded this contract with CBRE and to provide our services to the QI which is one of the region’s most prestigious and high-profile facilities.
“Our ability to offer several disciplines, to deliver a proven high-quality service, our local management team and the thousand plus colleagues we employ across the region, proved a key part in assisting CBRE to win the total facilities management contract. Monthind’s team is already on-site at the QI delivering a phased builder’s clean, and our project team is busy planning the mobilisation of the contract ahead of the QI’s official opening.
“As the East of England’s largest independent and local company, we are very proud to have been part of the CBRE winning team that has secured this prestigious facilities management contract. Delivering our cleaning services here helps us continue to grow, and to create further employment in the region.”
Lee Heggan of CBRE’s winning bid team said of Monthind: “We were impressed by the expertise, commitment and professionalism shown by the Monthind team. They took on-board the responsibility of all soft services, and have delivered everything on time, in line with our budgets, with the expertise usually seen in bigger firms, and with a passion those firms sometimes lack. We’ve already begun working with Monthind on the next project and I’ve a feeling there will be many more to follow.”
