MHA Larking Gowen are pleased to announce two new appointments in their Ipswich office. Graham Mummery has been appointed as a new Corporate Partner and joined the team on the 15 June.  James Nichols was appointed as Senior Manager and joined on the 8 June.  Both appointments mean an expansion of the team based in the south and will support the continued growth for the firm.

Ian Fitch, MHA Larking Gowen partner said, “Given the current challenges, I am really pleased to welcome Graham and James into the firm. Both have great experience and they will certainly enable our Corporate team in Ipswich to continue to move forward.

The last couple of years has seen good growth in our Ipswich office and some exciting opportunities. Their recruitment re-enforces our commitment to the marketplace as other firms downsize or leave. The addition of their skills to our existing team will enable us to continue to grow and help more businesses with audit, tax and advisory issues. It is an important step forward.”

New Corporate partner, Graham Mummery has 20 years’ experience advising businesses across East Anglia, from the smallest to largest clients. His recent experience lies with advising owner managed businesses. His appointment supports our plans for growth in the southern region through an emphasis on our corporate, tax and advisory services based in Ipswich.

Speaking about his appointment Graham said, “I’m delighted to be joining a firm that is held in such high regard locally.  I believe there to be a fantastic space in the local market for a firm that has client service and it’s people at the heart of all it does, and I’m looking forward to working with Ian and the other partners across the Southern region.”

James Nichols has been appointed as a Senior Manager within the audit and advisory team. He has worked in the region since he qualified in 2014 and has worked as an auditor for the past 6 years.  James will work with the team supporting owner managed businesses across Suffolk and Essex

James said “I am delighted to join MHA Larking Gowen who are well recognised in East Anglia.  They are a firm who are looking to grow, and I am pleased to be a part of that growth.”
