Experienced Suffolk insurance broker opens new offices in Woodbridge

A new service-focused insurance broker has opened in the centre of Woodbridge. Sole Bay Insurance Brokers has opened an office in Quay Place, near the train station, and is looking to offer a very different service, including evening drop-ins outside of usual office hours.

Tim Long, owner of the business, keen sailor and a longstanding insurance professional, has over 25 years’ experience in the marine insurance market, with access to some of the best insurance policies available. With Sole Bay open to enquiries for all types of business but specialising in the marine, agricultural and personal insurance sectors, the company is looking to offer insurance brokering with a difference.

The new ‘Drop In Sessions’ on Thursday evenings is hoping to make it more practical for people to manage their insurance needs, with easy access for commuters, its a great place to stop off for a quick drink and some great advice.

Mr Long comments with insurance brokers becoming larger, and online insurance becoming readily available, increasingly price has become the only consideration. At Sole Bay we expect the price to be right and accept that it is a major factor but we provide other benefits as well; being with you when a claim occurs, being local, transparent charging and comparing the quality of the cover across insurers to build the protection around your specific needs. Central to our offering is the wish to provide client-led insurance advice to protect you, your business or home.

We are proud of our independence, being able to source insurance from a variety of underwriters, enabling us to make your needs the focus. With a broad range of options, an understanding of your needs and the right advice you will be amazed how the insurance can be made to suit your specific you.”
