Ensors expand Corporate Tax team in Suffolk

Ensors Chartered Accountants have announced the appointment of two new senior members of staff within their Corporate Tax team.

Tim Shaw, Associate Partner and a highly experienced chartered accountant, joins the firm’s two Cambridgeshire offices from a well-respected London practice. Tim has experience in working with clients in the property, technology and manufacturing sectors, including owner-managed businesses and subsidiaries of global corporations. His specialisms include corporate tax, reorganisations, transfer pricing, employee share schemes and tax matters in relation to mergers and acquisitions.

Sarah Lockhart-White, Director, joins the firm’s Bury St Edmunds office and has over two decades of taxation experience working with some of the largest accountancy firms. As both a chartered accountant and chartered tax adviser, she has experience in all areas of corporate taxation, including advising clients on research and development tax relief, patent box regime, capital allowance planning, group restructuring including demergers, acquisitions and disposals including management buy outs (MBOs), and international tax.

Speaking about the recent appointments, Corporate Tax Partner, Robert Leggett, said: “The firm is delighted to announce the appointments of Tim and Sarah which will enable us to further continue our growth across East Anglia and London. Their experience and skill set will both complement and enhance the current team’s offering and will allow us to add even greater value and service to our clients. When combined with our recent promotions of Ann Minson to Director, and Andrew Scott to Manager, both in the Ipswich office, this represents a significant enhancement of the team.”
