Domestic abuse charities outlines how employers can support employees

As the UK moves into a second lockdown and winter sets in, it is more important than ever that employers and managers know how to support their workforce.

Cases of domestic abuse rose sharply between March and June 2020, as more people were working from home and stuck in the house with their abusers, without work acting as their usual lifeline.

This webinar from Hestia, one of the country’s leading domestic abuse charities, outlines how employers, HR teams and managers can support employees.

It is for anyone who manages others in some way.

As 1 in 4 women and 1 in 6 men experience domestic abuse, it really does affect every organisation. Research also shows that 75% of domestic abuse victims are targeted whilst at work, but fewer than one in three victims disclose domestic abuse at work.
