The team at Heavenly Hair love a change of season, it’s the perfect opportunity to reflect, resolve and transform. Autumn is all about nature and fire tones such as copper, faded red and golds to give a sophisticated feel. Read on to see why Salon Director, Janene Bush, thinks now is the perfect time to celebrate Autumn with a brand new look.
I have always thought that Autumn is the perfect time to up your hair colour. That summer glow you developed is fading fast and it’s time to inject some warmth and gloss to your sun-damaged hair. And changing colour is a great way to illuminate your face and boost your natural radiance. Our brand new Schwarzkopf Clay and Cedar range displays the perfect autumnal palette.
For many, chestnut brown with subtle caramel can be a safe, yet impactful choice. Depending on your preference, you could go for a full head of colour or try a fusion of colours with balayage, ombre, or classic highlights/lowlights allowing a shadowing of beautiful tones to frame the face.
If you fancy bucking the trend and want some brightness amongst the autumn darkness, we are still fond of the blonde, and this season we are anticipating bold blondes taking the spotlight. Think Katy Perry, no ashy tones there. Go more gold blonde, less white blonde. Discuss with your stylist what you want to achieve, and they will listen to your ideas, whilst using their knowledge and experience to recommend bespoke services and provide controlled lifting of the hair, minimising damage. In our aim to not compromise the integrity of your hair, we may recommend a range of aftercare products, treatments, and additional sittings, to make sure you’re hair is in the best condition it can be.
Of course, before you think about new styles and colours, Autumn is also a great time to check the condition of your hair. Summer brings with it a multitude of hair issues; hair breakage, dry scalp, brittle and limp looking hair. Here are a few simple tips to bring your hair back to life:
Soothe your scalp – try not to shampoo every day, we have a wonderful range of products, and will be launching a Clinic soon, which will help with any scalp issues such as dandruff, psoriasis and hair loss.
A hair mask can make a real difference to stressed hair
Prepare yourself for our wonderful British weather and protect your hair from the elements. Braids, messy buns and top knots continue to be on trend this Autumn. And when all else fails, a hat is a great way to protect your hair.
For a great winter treat or year round smoothing system, we offer a ‘restructurant’ system by Nanokeratin that repairs and strengthens hair. Prices usually start £150 (depending on hair length), however during October and November we have a a special offer with £50 off, which includes a take home product.
Visit Heavenly Hair for a fantastic new hair colour to take you into the cooler days of Autumn 2019. Take advantage of a complimentary colour consultations, where the team can chat about your requirements and offer knowledge and advice, as well as carry out a skin test (required a minimum of 48 hours before your appointment) and take a strand test to give you an idea of what is achievable, before booking in for your hair appointment.
