Gourmet food and Gin pairing evening at Tuddenham Mill

A Suffolk based distillery are partnering with Suffolk’s well loved award-winning restaurant, Tuddenham Mill, for a food and gin pairing experience on Thursday, 27th June.

Guests will enjoy a stunning 3 course meal, carefully designed and chosen by Chef Patron Lee Bye. The food will be expertly paired with a selection of infused gins from local distillery Heart of Suffolk.

The first gin on the menu will be Rosie’s Gin. Forget the cider, Rosie, this particular gin is distilled ready for those long hazy summer days in the garden. Living up to it’s namesake, this gin has a fresh taste featuring floral undertones, and is best paired with subtle zesty fruity flavours. It will be the perfect accompaniment for the sea trout, pink grapefruit oyster leaf and dill starter.

For the main, the spotlight is on Betty’s Gin. This is a pot distilled gin, which means that it’s produced through one on the oldest gin making processes. It’s also styled on a London Dry gin, giving it a modern, fresh and crisp taste on the palette. This gin is carefully prepared using nine botanical’s, to create the unique, modern and refreshing taste.  It also has a slight orange undertone, which will be a perfect accompaniment to the Fire roasted duck, orange sauce, star anise, and rock samphire.

To finish this perfect evening, the Mill will be serving a Meadowsweet pannacota, raspberries, coconut, which will be paired with Heart of Suffolk’s Blackberry Sloe Gin Martini.

This special evening at Tuddenham Mill is £65pp and starts at 7pm on Thursday, 27th June 2019.
