Win Ed Sheeran’s guitar with EACH’s charity auction

Want to get your hands on Ed Sheeran’s guitar? Or do you fancy taking a trip to Rio de Janerio? Well, you’re in luck! These are just a few items that have been donated to East Anglia’s Children Hospice (EACH) for their charity auction. The auction aims to raise money for their nook appeal.

The auction starts online and is live now at www.eachriocarnival.com. Bidding will close a few hours before the ball begins on Friday, 21 June. Those attending will then have an exclusive period to place final bids.

The Rio Carnival-themed event will take place at Norfolk Showground. It promises a riot of vibrant colour, with a taste of Brazil, and will raise valuable money for the nook appeal.

EACH Ambassador Ed Sheeran has kindly donated the following to go under the hammer:

  • A Martin LX1 Ed Sheeran Signature guitar (Divide model)
  • Four tickets to see him perform at his open air gig in Ipswich
  • A pair of shoes worn by the man himself

Additional auction prizes include:

  • A two-week stay in a four-bed Florida villa for up to 10 guests, supplied by Plastic Building Supplies
  • A luxury holiday to Rio de Janeiro, with Humboldt Travel
  • A flight in a Second World War fighter plane

Carol Plunkett, EACH Norfolk Fundraising Manager, said: “We’ve got some amazing lots in our ball auction, so whether you’re attending or just want one of the prizes please visit the website and get bidding! You won’t be disappointed and you’ll be helping transform the care we can provide to children and families in Norfolk.

“We’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has donated prizes, to our Ambassador Ed Sheeran and all the wonderful local businesses who support us year-on-year.”

The nook appeal is being run by East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) to raise money for the building of a new Norfolk children’s hospice.
