Bury St Edmunds Cricket Club is the leading community cricket club in Suffolk. The club plays at the ‘Victory Ground’ located close to the town centre of the historic market town of Bury St Edmunds. The cricket club, which has charitable status, is operated with the support of many active volunteers and a small number of professional staff.
The club hosts approximately 100 senior and 60 youth games each season and receives around 2,000 visiting players and guests. Other matches, including Suffolk Minor Counties games, England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) and East Anglian Premier League competitions are also held at the ground.
The club has over 200 playing members including 120 boys and girls, 90 men and 20 women. Cricketers of all ages and abilities are encouraged to realise their potential and to contribute to the club. Players have access to a team of ECB qualified coaches.
