Lowestoft Canine Creche reaches that all-important pinnacle on 13th August 2019, their FIRST BIRTHDAY!
They were the first Canine Creche in Lowestoft and the local community have embraced this wonderful facility headed up by MD Donna Gilmour-White.
With the dog population in the UK reaching 9 million and 25% of households owning at least one dog (Source PFMA), Reportedly total spending on pet care in the UK is set to reach a record high of £5.3 billion this year, and Lowestoft locals are certainly mirroring this.
The humanising of pets, and in particular dogs, is a fast growing trend in the UK and research by Mintel has revealed some interesting statistics which show that humanising pets is a key theme running through the pet care industry, with consumers making adjustments to their daily lives to accommodate pets as part of their families.
Candace Rose, founder of Canine World and Suffolk Canine Creche commented “Our service is critical for people who are at work all day and feel guilty about leaving Fido alone, or perhaps may have a non-dog friendly retirement hobby, a new puppy that needs socialisation skills developed in a safe way, and Lowestoft certainly fit the bill!”
Gilmour-White MD Lowestoft Canine Creche delightedly says “I cannot believe where the last 1 2months has gone, it’s incredible to think we started with a blank sheet of paper and no clients and now care for an average of 100 dogs per week.”
“The community have embraced us and supported my fledgling business, we have created jobs and training programs, provided sponsorship to some local areas to assist dog waste issues, transformed an empty old building and raised and enhanced the life and social skills of many pooches in the community.”
Commencing 12th August 2019, we will be having a Birthday Paw-ty every day to celebrate this milestone with plenty of extra fun and goodies for all
